Swim
Comments: Forgot to take of wedding ring which is a loose fitting ring. Had a hard time trying to keep it and swim. Swallowed water and felt nauseous. Gave my ring to a paddleboarder 1/2 way. Felt sick. Did better from the last buoy to shore but was wiped when exiting. What would you do differently?: Take off ring. More open water swims w/ breathing and distance focus. Transition 1
Comments: Was worn out from the swim and was still fighting nausea. What would you do differently?: Was not concerned as much with the transition this race. More on just finishing. Bike
Comments: Cassette is getting worn and need to replace with the chain. Hills were a challenge as legs were worn out from the swim. Puked after a mile due to the lake water. What would you do differently?: Not over exert myself in the previous event. Transition 2

Comments: Run was a mix of trail and road. Legs were pretty tired from the previous events. What would you do differently?: Save more energy in swimming (Had such problems with that event it set the stage for the rest) Post race

First Triathlon. Concern was just finishing the race.
Breakfast was Toast w/ Almond Butter and a Banana. Being first race I talked to some known triathletes who have done races.
