Swim
Comments: Felt great throughout the entire swim, except for the fact that the sighting was terrible. Found myself off course numerous times. The lack of buoys really messed with my sighting. Also, there was about a 200 yd run back to transition from the swim exit that was included in the swim time. What would you do differently?: Swim faster, get better at sighting. Transition 1
Comments: T1 was great. I would like to get it under 2 minutes, but this will do. What would you do differently?: Faster, faster. Bike
Comments: Managed a 17.4 mph pace with a super hilly course. The course was nice, even took you through the forest preserve for a minute. What would you do differently?: Push myself more. Transition 2
Comments: Great T2, no complaints, except for next time try to get it under a minute. What would you do differently?: I could have been faster (sensing a theme here?). Run
Comments: I had a great run. My hydration was perfect, although the heat really started getting to me. What would you do differently?: Run faster, train more in hot temps. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and stretched for a bit. Ate a bagel with cream cheese and a banana. Drank gatorade and water, lots of it. stuffed ice down my tri suit. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing really, just think overall I could have pushed myself more. Event comments: This was a great race.
