Pre-race routine:

Up early to get van packed and kids out the door. Ate bannana and granola bar in the van on the way to the race. Also had cup of coffee and some water.

Got to race site and got packet and transition set up. Went for warm up swim in lake.

Could have done better navigating course. Went out a little too wide and probably ended up costing myself a minute or two.

Good run. Only stopped for water and stopped to walk on really steep hills. Legs felt pretty good after hard bike.

3rd year in a row doing this race. Enjoy it every year. Great course. Clear lake for swim. Challenging fast course for bike. Paved trail for run. 2nd year in a row for a sprint PR at this race site!
