Comments:

A lot of people "estimate" their swim times for 7 or 8 and actually swam 10 or 11 which ruins the swim part of this race. People like that would hug the inside of the lane making it nearly impossible to get past them without going into a complete sprint for an entire length of the pool. Ended up having to go under a few people.
What would you do differently?:

I'll be sure to set my swim time as 3 or 4 next year to avoid getting caught up behind that bs. Anyway, ended up with not too bad of a time but wasted a lot more energy than I should have.

Really good ride but again had to go around some inexperienced people that slowed down the race. Countless times I was faced with the choice to either pass 10 feet to the right or cross the center line in order to pass to the left. Choose the right every time and one guy even yelled at me for it...
What would you do differently?:

"estimating" my swim time at 3 or 4 minutes would have helped me to avoid these people as much as I could.

Good run, good kick at the end. The well paced bike led to me having just enough energy left to spend on the run

slow people in front of me physically impeding people behind them from advancing

Event comments:

Start time was delayed by about 30 minutes for no reason. Regardless, I enjoy this race and plan on doing it again next year
