Swim
  • 11m 3s
  • 483 meters
  • 02m 17s / 100 meters
Comments:

Too many people at start, unable to navigate very well. Abandoning my breathing techniques again.
What would you do differently?:

Focus on breathing technique, start out a little wider maybe.
Transition 1
  • 02m 55s
Comments:

Took longer than usual to get my shoes snapped in to place. Long distance form beach to transition area, seemed like about 300 meters or so.
What would you do differently?:

Need tri shoes
Bike
  • 40m 13s
  • 13 miles
  • 19.39 mile/hr
Comments:

First 5 miles I was very tight after getting out of the water. Not sure why....I was trying to open the gu packet as well for the first 2 miles and had to take off my invisaligns to do it. Once I got passed the first bridge, I started feeling better and pick up the pace a little. Had I started out that way, I might have picked up a couple of minutes on my overall time.
What would you do differently?:

Do not wear the invisaligns and cut the gu so that I can consume it a little easier. Use electrical tape to put the gu on there????
Transition 2
  • 01m 1s
Comments:

Best t2 I have ever had. Put feet on top of shoes, racked bike quickly, took too long to put running shoes on but was able to grab everything and begin running rather quickly.
What would you do differently?:

I took my feet out of the shoes a little early.
Run
  • 26m 32s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 08m 34s  min/mile
Comments:

My best run yet in a sprint race, very happy with results. I took it a little easier on the bike so that my run wouldn't suffer as much. I still had to fight it but that's probably normal.
What would you do differently?:

Might have picked it up a little more coming back to hit the 25 minute mark which will be my next goal
Post race
Event comments:

I would give it a higher score but the start was horrible. Not enough waves.
