Always tough to navigate this course - second half is always into the sun which makes it tough. New triangle course helped a bit as the last leg was perpendicular to the sun at least.

What would you do differently?:

Need to buy my own road bike - ditch the 25 year old mountain bike for this kind of activity!

Bad back spasms - probably due to unfamiliar bike with more agressive position

Get used to my own bike. Run bricks more in training

Event comments:

Nice pancake feed by Team Nebraska Triathlon (free / donation) after the race. Parking is OK - bit of a walk from outside the course. CSG has stopped giving out bling after the races which is a tiny bit sad even though the race shirt is pretty nice. Great race, competative field, always a fun time. Strongly recommend it.
