Swim
Comments: I felt so good in the water. Swam the entire race freestyle. In my previous races, I ended up doing some breast strokes due to a bit of anxiety. I was happy with my swim until I looked at my watch...I wasn't as fast as I thought. But overall I felt good with the swim. What would you do differently?: SWIM FASTER!!!! Transition 1
Comments: Didn't rush too much in transition....didn't want to forget anything! What would you do differently?: Just be quicker :) Bike
Comments: Very flat! I was very happy with my pace! Fastest pace to date! What would you do differently?: nothing! Transition 2
Comments: Legs felt like lead!! Run was very hot til we got in the bush and ran the trail. I am not a fan of trail running. Didn't walk at all! Felt very good and sprinted at the end to the finish line! Run

What limited your ability to perform faster: Need to train harder. Event comments: Awesome event!!! Can't wait for next year! Last updated: 2013-08-01 12:00 AM

Stayed at Holiday Inn with daughter the night before.
Got to the site about 7:30. Checked in, biked rack and set up transition.
Met my family and then met up with friend Ann to get wetsuits on and swim 500m to the start of the swim.
Swim to start was great! The water wasn't too cold.
