Wake up at 5:30. Eat a bowl of oatmeal. Load up the truck and drive to the race.

Boat ride and hill climb to the pre race meeting, then hill descent to the lake.

What a tough course! Started on a hard uphill and never got easier. The wet roads made descending scary and the ascending was slow. It was fun though!

Calf burning extravaganza! Slow uphills and just kept picking up the feet as fast as I could going down. Treacherous course for a mediocre runner!

Run more in training I suppose.

The course and the lack of training I did prior to the race.
