Event comments:

Small no-frills local sprint. Time trial pool swim makes for a long morning for a sprint, but that's the limitation of the format. I don't think a sprint needs finisher medals, but if you are going to have them, make them decent. Two years ago they had an icon with the name of the event on it, simple but unique. This year's for the adults ad kids was a plain triathlon medal with a spot on the back. No big deal, but my wife ad daughter were doing their first, and the printing on the back rubbed off instantly. Cheap. Do it right or don't do it.
