Swim
Comments: I had a very hard time exhaling during the swim. Not really sure why but it took a very long time for me to relax. What would you do differently?: More swim training and OWS. Transition 1
Comments: First time ever using a peeler. It would have probably been easier for me to do it myself. It was a very long walk + jog to transition but at least it was on a nice red carpet. What would you do differently?: More running after a swim. Bike
Comments: I very challenging course. What would you do differently?: More hill training and bike prep. Transition 2
Comments: I took a very long time here as I wanted to make sure I was comfortable and ready for the run. I did sun screen, etc. My food was all melted which was a bummer. What would you do differently?: Go faster!! Run
Comments: I was not sure if I was going to be able to run at all as I am still recovering from the full marathon, but I did a walk + run mix and took my time. I even stopped for some physio at one point. Met a very nice lady from Ottawa who we finished the run together. What would you do differently?: For run training and hills. Post race
Warm down: OK. Cleaned up at transition right away. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training. Event comments: Volunteers were SO friendly. I was an honor to do the race in french as well. Scenery was amazing as well. Last updated: 2013-08-26 12:00 AM

same as usual, transition was very close to the motel so I was able to go back and get my wet suit, etc before the swim.
