Comments:

Planned recovery run after this weekends Oly Triathlon. I ran about a 7:30 first mile which was very nice and easy considering it was mostly downhill.

My legs hated the first hill as they were slow to warm up. I didn't get into a decent groove until about mile 4 after the second large hill. Kept the run at an easy pace at around 8 minute miles. My competitive self was pretty bummed to see the finish clock turn to 50:00 before I got to their but overall I met my goal.

Actually it was a PR for a 10K by over minutes. It is funny how perspective changes as you get more into a sport.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe suck it up a little more and brak the 50 minute mark. Other than that, nothing.
Post race
Warm down:

massage, walk to car

What limited your ability to perform faster:

dogging it, completing an Oly on Saturday.

Event comments:

Great fun. I wish I had my kids up there to run the fun run with them.
