Comments: got great start thru the surf line, hit the first buoy and got settled into a very comfortable pace. was at the last buoy before we knew it. What would you do differently?: Could have definitely pushed a bit harder. Transition 1
Comments: actually tipped over for a second in the shoot out of transition. it was very narrow and crowded. only lost a few seconds What would you do differently?: more body glide on legs Bike
Comments: really pushed the bike leg. the hills were not too bad and kept my speed up pretty good. hardest part was the last mile in parking lot against the wind and dealing with traffic. was averaging >19 prior to that. What would you do differently?: nothing. I thought it was a very good ride. Transition 2
Comments: almost ran past my rack but teammate caught me What would you do differently?: not much Run
Comments: pretty good run but was never able to really turn on the speed in middle portion. maybe not enough nutrition. did finish strong for last mile. probably <7 min pace What would you do differently?: try to push thru miles 2 and 3 a bit harder Post race
Warm down: light jog, stretching and nutrition What limited your ability to perform faster: maybe a bit more rest the night before and more nutrition. woke up at 4a, coffee pb & j sandwich and banna
light jog and dynamic stretching, swam a couple hundred yards prior to my wave
