Swim
Comments: my best swim to date, decided to push a little harder on swim. What would you do differently?: just keep on improving and practicing, the more you swim the better you get. Transition 1
Comments: decent T1, maybe could have not dried off as much after remvoing wetsuit, but it was quite chilly getting out of water and another 45 seconds of toweling off was important before getting on bike. What would you do differently?: maybe no socks next time Bike
Comments: decided not to push to hard like I normally do on the bike, what can I say I like to go fast, but this time I didn't push to hard and kept cadence up to cut through headwind and push a hair more down wind. Averaged just under 22mph and didn't feel like I was working hard. Transition 2
Comments: pretty good T2, but need to be careful not to cramp as I put running shoes on as I bend down. Run
Comments: This was my best run yet PR, last 2 miles of run I went sub 8 min/miles which for me is Awesome. What would you do differently?: Keep practicing just like swim, practice makes perfect. Post race
Warm down: water fruit What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Best race in my short Tri career Event comments: This is a Great Event, I did the Sprint last year and this was my second Oly. The Seafoof festival in conjunction with race is Awesome. Last updated: 2013-09-18 12:00 AM

Wakeup at 4am after the usual tossing and turning all night waiting for 4am, choke down a banana and some of a peanut butter bagel, gatorade and coffee. Normal prerace nerves. This being my second Oly.
easy setup as bike drop off was required day before race, setup transition area. drink my prerace energy drinks and have a granola bar, do some stretching, bathroom etc. put on wetsuit and proceed to wait for 1.5 hours until we start due to delay. More pushup and bathroom trips.
