Comments: Fun run with friends, mostly dodging and weaving running through crowds and sprinklers...it started to get really hot by the time we finished...since we were in the last group..oh, got a free number from a guy who had friends bail on him...score! What would you do differently?: Mail in application on time next year and turn in a time, not to be competetive, so I won't have to wait for 1 hr and a half in the sun before running!  Post race
Warm down: Water, picked up the t-shirt stretched and walked to where we had parked the car...felt sorry for all the 20,000 stinky folks on Marta!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Crowd..but this is a fun thing to do with freinds..I won't ever be picking up a paycheck or sponsor after the race, so just to do this for fun.. Woke up at 5:30..no real hurry since I would be in the last group. Coffee, clif bar, h20...oh, and I had to get a race number still...Parked down by the vortex and took Marta to the start...this is the best way to do it if you can find a spot.
Baked in the hot sun for over an hour before we started moving, stiffined up and sweated a lot...tried to stretch out before we started moving around
