Pre-race routine:

Woke up and had a bowl of Cereal and got ready for the race. Drove to Marta station and rode down to Buckhead. Marta wasn't too crowded at 5:30 so I was able to sit and relax on the way down.
Event warmup:

Did some stretching and wondering around the holing area until my start. Was in group 7 so I started about an hour after the offical race.

Comments:

Run was good. Just wanted to break 50 minutes. The Course was a little crowded, but that is to be expected. Tried to keep to the right to pass people but most people were not following that rule. Had to find some creative ways to get around people. Water stations were busy and had to slow down to take a drink form a cup. The hills weren't as bad as I remember from previous years so I was excited about that. Overall a good race.
What would you do differently?:

Bring my fuel belt so I wouldn't have to stop to get drinks at the water stations. Also will submit a 10k time to try to get a earlier start time.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked and got my T-shirt and then walked to Marta to go home. Felt pretty good when i got home so decided to hit the gym and get a mile swim in.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Thought I did pretty good and was very happy with my time. Maybe if I had my fuel belt and didn't have to slow down and stop to drink may have taken about a minute off. But overall was happy with my time.

Always enjoy the Peachtree. Good fun race.

Course: Peachtree Road, had a few hills, nothing to bad. Course was wet in areas from water being sprayed to cool off runners.
