Comments:

Ran this race while on vacation at Dewey Beach for the second year in a row. It's a great course for a PR, but with a gut full of Grotto's pizza and Coronas, and about four hours of sleep, a PR wasn't gonna happen. Very hot & humid. I slowed a bit on the last mile, but all things considered I didn't feel too bad. Ran it a couple seconds faster than last year (probably in a similar condition).
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Pizza, beer and sleep (wouldn't change a thing).

Event comments:

This race is a good time - with pirates and a cannon blast to start the race and all the tacos and beer you want at the finish. The post-race spread was exceptional; they even had free Red Bull. Dewey's finest did a good job controlling traffic. The race was very well organized and is part of a nine race series at Dewey Beach.
