Pre-race routine:

Up at 4:30am to get the train, Bagel, coffee, not much else
Event warmup:

Did not get any warm up as literally ran from the port a potty into my corral that had started moving

Comments:

Was on the exact pace I wanted through 22 miles, had run the half here last year at a faster pace but slowed for the full, in mile 22 got hit with severe calf cramps and just had to walk/run the last four miles. Really painful and took me off the BQ pace that I had through 22 miles, could not get back on track
What would you do differently?:

Its either more long run training or better nutrition or both, felt great until getting the calf cramps, had done 20 mile training runs without issue but this was the first full and the problems came at mile 22.

This is a great big city race with tremendous crowds. A really fair course, not too many hills. The people are really encouraging - the city does a great job for this race,
