I was very apprehensive about the swim. I was confident I could complete it but I kept thinking about the rough time I had at the last race in San Diego. Plus, this was my first time swimming in the ocean. I was very pleased with my swim leg, felt great at the end of it and was comfortable the entire time.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe pick up the pace.

I was slow during the transition, I probably could have saved a minute by moving faster here. I was more concerned with a smooth transition than with time.
