Comments: Forgot to install computer on bike before race so had to get it out of bag and fix on bike. then had to fiddle with computer to reset. What would you do differently?: Fix computer on before race start. Apply more lube on wetsuit especially around neck. Bike
Comments: I found the cycle very tough and was surprised to see that I had taken 1 hr 50m to the halfway point. The gears were not changing cleanly probably because the bike had been out all night in the pouring rain. BAck was aching for most of the cycle. What would you do differently?: More training on hills and cover chain and/or oil chain before race. Transition 2
Comments: Was not sure how I was going to stand up as legs were stuffed after the cycle. Run
Comments: I felt like I was getting faster each lap. Had to go to toilet at about 3k mark but fine after that. Took 3 leppin and a replace gel plus water. What would you do differently?: Nothing - pleased with run Post race
Warm down: Stretched legs and upper body, drank a coffee and ate a protein bar. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of cycle training on hills. Not sure why swim was so slow.
