Run
Comments: I hurt mile 9 but besides that I was great. MUCH better than the other half I did in April. Thousands of spectators really got me going, I absolutely loved every second of this race. What would you do differently?: Not a whole lot. I broke 2:20, which was my goal. I'd like to run another half in May or so. We'll see what happens. Post race
Warm down: Sat and waited for my stepdad's relay team to get in, walked to get food What limited your ability to perform faster: Wind..cold wind Event comments: You need to get out here and do the Detroit Marathon. It is seriously amazing!!! You will not regret it! I really plan on doing my first full marathon here next year depending on my other time committments..I hope I have time to train. I loved it! Got up at 5, ate peanut butter/toast, sipped water in the car.
Walked around with my stepsis who was in a much higher corral than me, and my stepdad who was doing the marathon relay with his team. Got to my corral with 15min to spare and just waited...
