I felt strong during the swim, but was surprised by 8:40 time exiting water... based on my time and others, I think swim distance was slightly longer than 400?! Decided not to wear the wetsuit due to short distance. May have slowed me down, but made up for it in T1

Run was slow!! 9+ minute mile is not cool.... legs felt OK, but lungs were shot. Didn't get into groove until mile 2

Legs / lungs were tired.... lack of bricks during training.

Event comments:

Race was small - only 55 participants.... very few volunteers on streets cheering - only one person on each intersection showing which way to turn. Post race pancakes and sausage rocked.
