Swim
Comments: What a pain in the a$$ should have stayed home or sold eggs with Will. I figured the ride down would be a good start to warm up. The swim was up in the air until 9:30. Then they cut it in half. Judging from my performance it's a good thing. They let us warm up then stood in the rain till the start, 10 minutes. rstock and I started in same wave. We get a lousy position. I love to blame my performance on the delay and weather but, I think it was more the bad mental attidute. What would you do differently?: Prepare for race and psyche up better. Post race
Warm down: Took of after good-byes and rode in the rain to check on Willie and J-girl how the egg sales were. What limited your ability to perform faster: Me for the most part Event comments: Looking back I wasted twenty dollars on performance but learned a lot about how important mental prepareness is. It was great to meet the other BT'ers which I have met. Last updated: 2006-07-15 12:00 AM

Got up and tried to decide whether the weather was going to let us swim. There was some rumbles of thunder. After a spirited discussion with Yoshi headed down on the bike to sign up. When I arrived the line was long. Of course after I paid my money they delayed the swim. Met up with Ridgelake and rstock3. Great guys, hung out to see what was going to happen. Stood sound in the cool rain a tighten up some
100 yds or so, stretched. Stood with Ridgelake who was shivering.
