Pre-race routine:

Was pretty nervous- didn't get much sleep.
Event warmup:

Jogged around a swam a little, but didn't have a whole lot of time to warmup and stretch.

Not sure on the time- in the rush I forgot to start my watch. It was really busy- spent almost the whole time focusing on not running into people, and trying to get away from the people running into me. Had to manuver around a few people that were floudering around.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe try to get more on the outside?

Have no idea how long this was either...but it seemed to go pretty smoothly. Not as much sand to contend with as in training.

Yay for only one hill! Had a hard time getting up my speed for the first half. Probably could have pushed harder, but wanted to save some energy for the run. Got up a little speed on the last leg- that was more fun. The whole thing went by pretty fast.
What would you do differently?:

Try to go faster! :-D And train more (maybe make it to a spinning class).

Went well! I think I walked a little less than normal- my pace was a little faster than in training. I stopped to stretch my calves near the beginning. It got a little warm at the end, but I was able to run the last leg.
What would you do differently?:

I wouldn't have minded another water station near the end.

Warm down:

Streched a little while listening to raffle...didn't win anything :(. But didn't feel as tired as I expected to...which maybe means I could have pushed a little harder. Ah, well- I'm just glad I made it through!

Event comments:

Kind of hard to rate the race, since it was my first. Overall I was disappointed with the swim, but beside that it was great!
