Comments: Tired from the swim. Struggled with socks on set feet. What would you do differently?: No socks on Sprint. Bike
Comments: Felt good, but knew I didn't have the power that I felt in training earlier in the week. What would you do differently?: Taper. I trained too hard during race week. Transition 2
Comments: Changed shoes, forgot to strip off the cycling shorts. Run
Comments: Calves cramped right out of t1. Stopped to re-tie shoe at m2 or so. What would you do differently?: Hydrate a bit more on the bike. Double knot shoes. Run faster. Post race
Warm down: Ate pizza, drank choc milk, ate fruit. What limited your ability to perform faster: Couch potato 5 weeks before the race. Big improvement over my first tri two weeks before. Less sofa time=faster Event comments: Hometown race, still thought it was great. Last updated: 2014-02-25 12:00 AM
