Run
Comments: 26/159 Women overall It was Misting at the beginning of the race. and cleared up for a good part of it. The last 3 miles were a miserable downpour. I ran out pretty easy pace, not wanting to push too hard. I was feeling good, and decided to push a little bit. I really enjoy the gravel portion along the creek, and by the turnaround, decided to push fairly hard on the downhills to make up time. Overall not too bad, although I thought I was moving a little faster. I forgot a watch. Post race
Warm down: Clam Chowder while I stood by the massive fireplace. Warm!! Then a latte. What limited your ability to perform faster: I was happy not to run with a watch, just to run by feel, but If I had known my pace, based on the way I felt, I would have pushed harder. Event comments: One of my favorites. this is the first of the 4 years I have run, that it rained so hard. Last updated: 2014-02-26 12:00 AM
