Run
Comments: Pushed it on the hills, felt nauseated a couple times. Otherwise good pace, not painful. A little difficult breathing in cold air and didn't warm up until about mile 3. What would you do differently?: Should start doing a warm-up run so I'm ready to run harder. Proud of my time! Beat last year's time and finished 3rd in my AG. Small field - I really didn't expect to do well. Post race
Warm down: Walking around, staying warm in the rescue center. What limited your ability to perform faster: The cold air was hard to breathe, and I started off cold when I could have warmed up first. Had a light breakfast, felt good to be light in the morning. Event comments: Love this race. Local, 100% of proceeds goes towards greyhound rescue, and there were great prizes donated by local businesses. I won a $25 gift certificate to the local running store. Great volunteers, lots of dogs and families, fun atmosphere and great run. Last updated: 2014-03-22 12:00 AM

Visited the potty, pinned my number on, stayed inside the building before the race to stay warm. No warm-up.
None. Should really start doing this.
