Woke up at 3:15, showered, ate eggs/toast/coffee with Gatorade, loaded bottles in refrig.

Bussed to the start line, stood in the potty line, stretch, and started.

Comments:

Not much. Planned on a 9-10 m/m pace. It felt good and heart rate stayed down most of the time. Better than I expected.
What would you do differently?:

It was a C race for me so not nothing really.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked to the car and got my bike for the 45 mile ride. Ate and drank.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training leading up to the race.

Event comments:

This was a one time only race before the Parkway opens tomorrow. Too bad!
