Swim
Comments: Good swim, didn't try to rush, just consistent and long strokes. What would you do differently?: Nothing, I was very pleased. Transition 1
Comments: It was raining. I was already wet, no biggie. I kept my suit on. Whatever! What would you do differently?: Not worry about the damn towel. Pointless! Bike
Comments: I felt pretty good about the bike segment, but I hate the bike part. My worst part. Gimme the swim and run anyday! What would you do differently?: Bring my mountainbike. Lol. Those thin tires on wet pavement were freaking me out. Transition 2
Comments: I barely remember this. I know I rushed. What would you do differently?: ? Run
Comments: the stitch killed me. But I was determined to come in under 1:30:00 and I made it just over by 0.3 seconds! :) What would you do differently?: I don't know. I was wet and cold and that stitch killed me. Post race
Warm down: I met the Nor'Easter team and eventually joined them as a team member through Peak Performance in Portland, Maine. I had a bagel and something else. A Nor'Easter told me there were massages. OMG. Best part ever! I think I had a donut. What limited your ability to perform faster: The wet, cold, and stitch. Event comments: The massage was killer. Then I had to drive home! :) Last updated: 2014-03-25 12:00 AM
