Had a swimmer real close at the end and just could not separate. Once broken I had a hard time restarting
What would you do differently?:

Possibly change breathing side so I was unaware of what was next to me. Also when tiring I tend to drift so that may have been all I needed.

Wrong socks for the transition, they are snug and difficult to get on when wet. Lesson learned.
What would you do differently?:

Wet suit got stuck on low leg will experiment with getting it off. Shampoo???

Felt good through here and pretty strong.

Continue to do the intervals and transition in training. Training faster is making me faster.

This is the most cruel finish area I have raced. At about 2.25 miles you pass the start finish area with a return back to the finish line. You get your hopes up that its over and you have a good distance still to run. however this does make for a great motivator into the line.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, one of my best runs to date.

Warm down:

A soak in the lake to get the salt off.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bike??? I don't know how much a new geometry machine would help.

Event comments:

Only reason for an average rating, the post race awards were dicked up. They were unorganized, my guess is it was the timing people not the event.
