Pre-race routine:

1 hour and 45 minute drive to Eunice from my house. My boyfriend drove thank goodness cause I was sleep deprived and needed to get some extra sleep. Stopped off at McD for coffee and fruit and maple oatmeal.

Unfortunately this was a manually timed swim so transition times are added in to the bike and run. Sucks big time.

The food is to die for. Boudin, chicken and sausage gumbo and rice, fruit. I do wish they would invest in chipped timing. I'd be willing to pay more to have it.
