Comments:

Interesting comparison to last year, first 8 miles was 1 min. faster, last 5 miles 1 minute slower than last year so ended just 15 seconds better this year. Last 5 miles was tough, gain/loss was 300 ft different than last year
What would you do differently?:

Not much - maybe out a little too fast, need to go faster n downhills, held back too much on those

race has grown to 650 and better post race activities, small country race but pretty challenging hills
