Swim
Comments: I was way out of shape for this swim. After a 26:XX at NOLA 70.3, this swim absolutely should've been sub 1 hour. What would you do differently?: More training, period. Transition 1
Comments: Well wet suit strippers were cool, so there was that. I was pretty gassed after the swim so I tried to take my time in transition. Also, the sunscreen latherers were pretty cool. What would you do differently?: Practice transitions. Bike
Comments: Brutal bike. Winds were not much of an issue, but the fitness level was not there to knock this out. I didn't have a real solid plan in place for nutrition and I wasn't using an HRM so RPE and pacing were all over the place. What would you do differently?: Spend more time training. The bike is easily the biggest area I can improve, wish I wouldn't focused more on that in the months leading up to the race. Transition 2
Comments: Totally gassed after the bike and not looking forward to slogging through the 26.2 run. What would you do differently?: Practice transitions. Run
Comments: Well the time just about says it all. First 8 or 9 miles were actual running, but I spent a very good portion of this leg walking. And no, I don't mean run/walking, just walking. What would you do differently?: Better prepare for this type of race and train more. Post race
Warm down: Chocolate milk dudes, I'm an IRONMAN! What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training. In the 20 weeks leading up to this race I averaged 4 hours/week -- I would not recommend that to anyone attempting an IM for the first time. Event comments: It's WTC, so it's going to be a good event. This was well organized, swag was good, food was good, lots of volunteers. Last updated: 2014-04-17 12:00 AM

Woke up, start drinking some water, and headed out to Cambridge.
Nothing special here, just some stretching and jumping around.
