Swim
Comments: I smoked the swim. No one even came close to passing me. I however passed 4 or 5 people. I was glad to climb out What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 1
Comments: My transition to say the least was lousy. I couldn't get my dang shirt on. Next time I will find a good tri shirt to wear in the pool What would you do differently?: practice, practice, practice Bike
Comments: time included the transition. I was in rare form during the bike. Actually did bike in under an hour What would you do differently?: work on transitions Transition 2
Comments: I need to practice my transitions What would you do differently?: practice Run
Comments: Preparing for this race I was unable to run because of a stress fracture in my foot. The run absolutely killed my time. What would you do differently?: not get injured Post race
Warm down: hugged my family and friends What limited your ability to perform faster: stress fracture in left foot Event comments: Overall I am happy with my performance. This was my first triathlon so I thought I did really well. My goal was 2:30:00. I beat that by over 30 minutes. Now its running season......the foot will heal and ya'll better watch out for me next year....j/k. Overall the race was a success.....I really need to practice my transitions and running (heal foot heal) Last updated: 2006-07-20 12:00 AM

I woke up a half hour late and ate a bowl of Kashi. Grabbed my bike and bag and ran for the door. Couldn't stop thinking how excited I was to do my first triathlon
Very little warmup. No warm-up pool so I just did a few leg stretches and headed to the pool
