Swim
What would you do differently?: nothin, for me the swim went very well. Transition 1
Comments: The transition area was about 100 yards from where the swim ended up and on top of a hill. You had to sprint up a hill with at least a 45 degree incline. A real good way to get your heart rate up around max. What would you do differently?: Lean to mount the bike with yhe shoes on the bike. Bike
Comments: Very nice bike ride. The volunteers really did a good job. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2
Comments: Again, I need to work on transitioning with the bike.Aside from that my best transition yet. What would you do differently?: See above Run
Comments: Very nice run that went very quick. What would you do differently?: Work on hills to get my time down. Post race
Warm down: Walked around for a good half hour with some light stretching. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: For someone wanting a good hill workout, this is it. Last updated: 2006-07-21 12:00 AM

The night before we ate at an Italian Restaurant that we probably should have passed on. After eating, I went outside to show jkhend my bike. I just happened to feel the tires and noticed BOTH tires were flat. Thankfully, the bike shop where we picked up our race packets was open late. I was able to pick up two new tubes and new rim tape. We went straight back to the hotel room and had to do the repairs. I managed to get to bed by 10:30.
Woke up at 4:00 and had a bagel, some much needed coffee and a banana and then headed to the race site.
Did a nice short warm up swim in the bath warm water.
