Swim
Comments: The swim is awesome with this race as you swim with the current. Best swim time ever, ha! What would you do differently?: Nothing--I got out there early and started up near the front and away I went! It was great! Transition 1
Comments: Much quicker than last time I did this race. T is still slow, but it was fine for me. What would you do differently?: Nothing, went as planned. Bike
Comments: Loved the bike, felt great and pushed hard. I really feel like cycling has definitely become my strongest section. I loved it, loved pushing, loved passing people from earlier swim waves! What would you do differently?: Nothing, I pushed just hard enough for my fitness without having it kill my run. Felt fabulous! Transition 2
Comments: Another good transition for me, not speediest but fine for me. What would you do differently?: Nothing! Run
Comments: Run felt great! I pushed hard for my fitness level, keeping a close eye on my heart rate. Pushed as hard as I could. What would you do differently?: Nothing! I felt I had a great time for me! I was thrilled. Post race
Warm down: Hung out with Katie from BT and some of her tri group! It was a great race and really enjoyed meeting all the new people through Katie. What limited your ability to perform faster: Genetics, my standard answer! Ha! Event comments: Absolutely love the Spudman! I really hoped to end this race season on an up and I sure did! When I did this race two years ago my finish time was 2:54--this time 2:39--two years older and wiser made the difference! Had a great day out there! Last updated: 2014-05-07 12:00 AM

Up early and ate my usual banana, peanut butter and half wheat bagel. Got to the race early with BT friend Katie to set up our transitions. We had dropped off the bikes the night before but needed to set up our stuff.
No real warm up, just the usual triple checking everything, etc.
