Running bare footed was a good decision. Lots of water & soft sand made it a challenging run, but fun.

More soft sand training.

Jump into ocean to cool down. H2O.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of bike power & usual lack of run miles.I haven't put in much training this month, so I am happy with my race.

Event comments:

Always a fun race. It's great to swim in the ocean(unpredicable conditions) & run on the beach, this is what makes this event unique.
