I survived is best way to put it. First swim in ocean, very happy I made it through, dozens did not make it because of conditions.
What would you do differently?:

Swim more with arms, less legs. Do not warm up then freeze for an hour waiting for start. Warm up in line.

The swim and cold adversly effected my performance on bike. I was much slower than normal and did not ever feel strong.
What would you do differently?:

Eating was major issue, I boinked. I will have peanut butter and banana handy next time.

Comments:

Hardest run I can ever remember nothing worked physically. The eating, not enough fluids and swim exhauston killed me. Worst time by 3 minutes I have had on 5 k in 6 months.
What would you do differently?:

everything I did built to poor run. I will train differently, longer runs, more bricks, strength legs and core.

Some conditions, too nervous, not eating well pre and during race.
