Swim
Comments: I felt good in this swim. Definitely thought I was faster than this. Oh well, it was fine. I was catching bubbles and passing people. That's always nice. What would you do differently?: Work on my swimming more. Transition 1
Comments: I'm ok with this t time. It includes a run from the beach. What would you do differently?: Nada Bike
Comments: It was hard to catch my breath coming out of t1 but eventually I settled down and started to put the hammer down. I the fact that we had our age on our calf so I knew who I was passing. I encouraged everyone as I went by. I hope this doesn't offend anyone because I am truly being encouraging and not rubbing it in. So happy with how my biking is coming along this year. Transition 2
Comments: Jello legs after pushing it but I felt good. What would you do differently?: quick laces....one of these days I'll remember to get some. Run
Comments: WHew it was a steamy one. Again, I couldn't catch my breath coming out of t2 and just pushed the RPM's. I didn't wear a garmin and the mile markers seemed so far apart. Running on the road was torture with the hot blazing sun and high humidity. I am so pleasantly surprised with my split. I had no idea I was running this pace. I just tried to push it and hold on. Favorite comment was "I hope I look as strong as you when I'm 45". HA! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walked back to the course to cheer on Clint and a few other friends that were racing. Drank some water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim performance. Event comments: Yummy cousins subs for lunch with various sides. Beer from the Delafield Brewhaus. Last updated: 2014-06-23 12:00 AM

pb&j and a banana. Set up transition and hung out at the beach. Posed for some pics with my friends. I have attached my favorite pic that the even photog captured.
Slip into the sausage casing and drank a 5 hour energy. Dipped my face in the water to make sure goggles weren't leaking.
