Comments:

It was hard to catch my breath coming out of t1 but eventually I settled down and started to put the hammer down. I the fact that we had our age on our calf so I knew who I was passing. I encouraged everyone as I went by. I hope this doesn't offend anyone because I am truly being encouraging and not rubbing it in. So happy with how my biking is coming along this year.

Comments:

WHew it was a steamy one. Again, I couldn't catch my breath coming out of t2 and just pushed the RPM's. I didn't wear a garmin and the mile markers seemed so far apart. Running on the road was torture with the hot blazing sun and high humidity. I am so pleasantly surprised with my split. I had no idea I was running this pace. I just tried to push it and hold on. Favorite comment was "I hope I look as strong as you when I'm 45". HA!
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked back to the course to cheer on Clint and a few other friends that were racing. Drank some water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Swim performance.

Event comments:

Yummy cousins subs for lunch with various sides. Beer from the Delafield Brewhaus.
