Swim
Comments: Although very slow, my swim felt comfortanble and relaxed. What would you do differently?: Since I've done no real swim training this year, I'm okay with these results. Overall, I figure I loose about 4 or 5 minutes beacuse of these lousy swim times, but that's what you get when you sign up for a race with a longer than average swim and don't bother to spend any time at the pool! Transition 1
Comments: Took some time to put on shirt and socks! Bike
Comments: I felt this was a nice, consistent ride. Maintained a good level of effort for the entire ride. I have not been riding the tri bike much, so I did come out of position a few times on the uphills and while waiting for a few bunched up packs to give me room to pass. I got passed by a yound kid early-on who was riding very fast, and by two older AGers who were riding just a little faster. What would you do differently?: Probably should have tried to pace off of one of the guys who passed me later in the race.....I hit T2 with pleanty left in the tank. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Felt like this was a pretty average run effort. Pushed to hold a decent pace, but nothing too fast. Post race
Event comments: As ususal, River Cities is one of the best sprint races in the area. Well organized, an ecellent venue and great courses. Last updated: 2014-06-27 12:00 AM

Went to packet pick-up on Saturday and drove out for the race start on Sunday morning. Parking is a little slow, so make sure you have the time. Set up transition and hung out waiting for my late wave start.
I got in the water and did a little swimming, but no other warm-up
