swim was putrid. 32 high at water's edge. should have been closer to 29 or so. yesterday i thought the course was long and some others said that. however today my shoulders are not even sore (nor upper arms). that tells me i didn't go hard enough. i thought i was very efficient in my stroke and thought i was pulling water well. apparently not

good ride. auto fill says 26 but the shirt says 24 so we will go with the shirt. that pace makes much more sense for how i felt. overall a good ride for me

keep training with speed work. not sure what would have made a difference yesterday otherwise

Warm down:

waited for Wilson to finish. stretched a little and ate some food. had a beer :)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

dismal effort on swim and bike fitness. the bike fitness is coming along better, but still needs a lot of work

Event comments:

enjoyed this race. it is in my hometown, so that is nice. nice food and stuff afterwards. FS Series does a good job putting these races on
