Swim
Comments: Water was excellent - great lake to swim in. What would you do differently?: Start farther towards front. Transition 1
Comments: Trouble getting into shoes and really spent for some reason. What would you do differently?: Have shoes ready to go. Bike
Comments: My seat decided it wasn't tight and soon I noticed the nose was way down making it hard to stay on saddle. Stopped at halfway point to look for wrench but didn't have one in saddle bag. Manually adjusted the seat back up and rode off. After a short while it went back down again. Eventually learned to sit up and with one hand and a body jerk adjust the seat each time it went too far down. This really messed up my time. What would you do differently?: Make sure the seat is not going to move. Transition 2
Comments: Took a while to hydrate and down a GU. What would you do differently?: Do the GU while still on bike. Run
Comments: Run for me was decent considering knee and ankle ligament damage. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: walk and stretch What limited your ability to perform faster: knee and ankle ligament damage as well as starting the swim toward the back and my bike seat failing. Event comments: Wonderful area for the tri and will come again. They could put a little more effort into the post race activities ... pizza was nice but not much to do following the awards.
