Comments: Great race. I pulled my hamstring at mile 3. Sharp stabbing pain. I stretched and rubbed and got back. Pulled again in 1/4 mile. Stretched and rubbed deeper. It stopped stabbing and became a dull ache. I was fine with that this along with a head call cost around 3 minutes. Kept a good steady pace at around 9:10 for the rest of the run. Lots of free hot dogs, burgers, pulled pork and smoothies for runners at the end. Lots of water / Gatorade stops. one with gel packs. What would you do differently?: The race starts in the Dover Raceway. The circle for the cars is very steep. I think I hurt my hamstring by passing people on this steep angle. I would stay lower where its flatter. Post race
