Swim
Comments: I traveled twice as far as anyone else since I don't seem to know how to swim in a straight line. I also just plain suck at swimming. What would you do differently?: Practice swimming more Transition 1
Comments: Disoriented from the swim, so I took it easy. I felt like throwing up (which I haven't felt like since 7th grade football) and I searched through my backpack for the camera so I could toss it to my dad during transition since he was late. My bike was also knocked over on the ground. :( Bike
Comments: I had to force myself to drink bc my body wanted anything but water after that swim. Transition 2
Comments: The transition area was so crowed and I got stuck behind a woman who didn't know where she was so I had to turn around and go around the other side of the rack. Run
Comments: I don't know how to run up or especially down steep hills. I was running the whole time and never walked, but my time was slower than my last tri that I walked a bit in. I had too much energy at the end and could have run another 5K, but I know if I went any faster, I would have run out of energy too soon. What would you do differently?: Learn how to run faster Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim. Event comments: Transition area WAY WAY too crowded. Between this and texas man (my only other tri) this seemed much less organized. Last updated: 2006-07-30 12:00 AM
