Comments: The swim was fine. But kept drifting right with the current. Spent some time correcting to keep to the left. What would you do differently?: Work on breathing left to keep with the bank and to prevent drifting to the middle. Transition 1
Comments: The rocks on the take out were bad. Almost slipped a few times. This messed up my concentration and bothered me. What would you do differently?: Purchase swim socks for getting out without getting hurt. Need to think about wearing wet suits... is it always to my advantage? Need to walk the distance to memorize course points for spotting. Bike

Set up my items and then biked around for a bit. Did about 20 minutes of warm-up on the bike. Could barely eat or drink anything, but did manage to down a breakfast bar.
20 minute bike around City Island and down Front Street. Nice and easy.
