Got a little choppier, also the course was longer - or rather, this time it was closer to the 1,000 meters it's supposed to be. It was 100m or so short last time.

T1 is inlcuded in the run time, which kind of sucks because after they take the time it's still up & around the restrooms and across the grass. The sprinklers were on and I ran right through it because I couldn't decide if I wanted to go left or right.

I like how low-key this race is. Doesn't even feel like a race, esp. because the course is not closed. People walk their dogs, watch the sunset, or go surfing. I won a baseball cap in the raffle. Went to The Shack afterwards.
