Comments: Sighted well. No breathing issues, just incredibly slow. I was 68/71. What would you do differently?: Swim faster. Transition 1
Comments: T1 was a dirt and gravel parking lot, so our feet got covered with mud, rocks, and debris. Removed my wetsuit on the carpet at the entrance of T1 so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged. Took the time to clean the debris off my feet before putting on my socks. Volunteers bagged our gear and took it to T2. What would you do differently?: Nothing. I think I did this transition well and posted one of the faster times. Bike

Able to sleep in, for a change. Drove the half hour to the event site and set up.
Practiced the start about a half dozen times while waiting.
