Comments:

I signed up for this race at the last minute at the urging of my friend Sam who is the race director for Operation Jack. (His Son is Jack)

The intent was to run this race as a tune up race for Carlsbad and to measure my current fitness. I raced this ALL OUT and given the flatness of the course, I intended on running even splits. (Ended with a 16s negative split)

Had an awesome race and set a new PR by 48s and ran my second Sub-90 half of the year. Running from the front was challenging because I ran by myself for most of the race. I did catch one guy at mile 13 but otherwise maintained my place throughout the race.

Event comments:

Operation Jack benefits the Autism Research and is an awesome very low key event. The awards were all hand painted plaques done by children and adults with Autism.

BY FAR A AND AWAY one of the best awards I have ever received from a race.
