Comments: I held back at first, not wanting to burn out. My HR monitor showed under 8 min. for the first two miles but my avg. pace was over that. What would you do differently?: I didn't do alot of running prior to the race. Moer training would have helped. Post race
Warm down: A bottle of water and some walking around. What limited your ability to perform faster: It's always the swim, but there was less panic this time and I can only think it will keep getting better. I don't have a routine per say, I just set up bike and gear. I do seperate my socks and roll them down to allow quicker access with wet feet.
Light jogging to the lake and once there some light swimming.
