Swim
Comments: I thought my time was going to be a lot better than this. I've been swim-training a lot, I swam the whole way steadily, didn't hyperventilate, breathed bilaterally, and even drafted behind a good pair of feet on the last 200 in. What would you do differently?: I don't know :( Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Everything was going fine until the 2nd loop of the bike when it started to POUR. I couldn't see a damn thing because I wasn't wearing sunglasses and the rain was stinging my eyes. I had one hand on my bars and one shielding my face from the rain. I'm still happy with my performance, and I know I would have a new PB if it hadn't rained. What would you do differently?: Nothing, Transition 2
Run
Comments: In the last Lake T race I did I died on the run, so my goal this time was to do better, and I did. I ran up all the hills and concentrated on steady breathing and putting one foot in front of the other. I was able to finish strong, so I'm happy with this run. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Put on dry clothes and packed up, then off to Panera with C, Rob, and Meredith. What limited your ability to perform faster: Rain, not being a great swimmer/runner. Event comments: Just another night at the Lake! Last updated: 2006-08-04 12:00 AM

Hung out with Team Frenette and Danielle, complained about the wind, the usual.
A little stretching, but not much as usual.
