Run
Comments: Out and back on wide trail. Very muddy and ankle deep water in about 7 places. The slogging through the wet spots made things a little more strenuous. What would you do differently?: I think that some more consistent training will translate in being able to keep at least a 7:30/mile pace. I was overall happy with the current seasonal progress but it's plain to see that I could have been more competitive if I had been able to train even just a little bit more consistently. Post race
Warm down: Just kept moving and cooled down pretty easily. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just the spotty training I've had. Arthritis has not been a factor for a year now so it's just the commitment to training that I have to work on. Event comments: Great trophies for the overall winners and medals for the AG'ers. This was a great local race and a lot of Half Marathoners in comparison to the 10k and 5k participants. Last updated: 2015-02-09 12:00 AM

Nothing special. Woke up, got dressed, potty break, and out the door. Low stress.
Very light warmup on the driveway of the park
